PUR is looking for an autonomous, team player, dynamic Project Officer in Vietnam.

As a key member of Asia you will report to the Project Manager in Vietnam and will be responsible for implementing, following-up and monitoring the activities in Vietnam. Your missions will be to support the development, coordination, management and monitoring of ecosystem restoration, agroforestry and regenerative agriculture initiatives or with agricultural communities on behalf of PUR’s new and existing clients; for the purpose of restoring ecosystem services and supporting sustainable livelihoods, such as, but not limited to:


Your responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Project management: Contribute to coordinate project schedules, collect and manage data for internal reporting, review project deliverables, and update reporting and communication materials supplied by the communication & marketing team. Work closely with the Project Manager, technicians and in-field partners to implement project activities, control quality of implementation, improve proceedings, and coordinate impact monitoring activities. Understand needs and train field partners on reporting and monitoring tools needed to execute the project and measure project impacts. Contributes to regular reporting on actuals, budget & reforecast.
  • Project development: Support the development of strategy plans for new and existing projects, aligning with key industry frameworks and/or carbon accounting methodologies. Provide field insights to the programs team on demand of the project manager. Contribute to regular reporting on progress.
  • Deliverable management: Maintain internal tools updated (ERP). Provide field insights to support the production of client’s deliverables and development of communication and marketing content.
  • Project monitoring: Be responsible for the data collection with the support of Field Data Collectors Officers. Implement data collection forms to the project's local context. Coordinate and monitor the implementation of data collection with local partners and local teams, providing training when necessary. Manage field deployment of data collection. Consolidate project data outputs and report to the Project Manager and the region's Field Data Officer any issue. Support the implementation of the project's impact monitoring strategies.
  • **Partnership and representation: Collect the supplier invoices and communicate to the Project Manager if there is any delay. Build relationships, and supervise local partners (cooperatives, associations, implementing partners

  • Education and Innovation: Work with team members across PUR’s global team to share information, knowledge and best practices. Provide feedback and suggestions to continually improve PUR’s project management, and communications tools & procedures, to ensure PUR continues to offer industry-leading services and opportunities to its partners and clients.

You have solid project management skills: implementation of work plans, and technical management of contracts, liaising with relevant stakeholders;


You know the field and challenge of the crops, you are passionate about sustainability and curious about other types of ecosystems and solutions for biodiversity and climate change mitigation and you want to have a strong impact, this position is for you !!
