Job Description

The Incentives Specialist will monitor and track EV charging incentive programs at the local, state, and federal level in key U.S. and Canadian territories to help FLO understand their eligibility requirements. The Incentives Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert on key incentive programs and will not only help qualify FLO’s products for these programs, but also support FLO’s customers through the application process. The Incentives Specialist will collaborate with multiple teams, including but not limited to the Sales Team, the Marketing Team, and the Product Team to support FLO’s overall go-to-market strategy via incentive funding programs. The Incentives Specialist will serve as part of FLO’s Public Affairs Team and will report to the Senior Incentives Specialist but will ultimately work in a highly collaborative environment with other teams.

LOCATION AND REMOTE WORK

📍 This is a full-time remote position open to candidates across the United States (EST).

BY JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU WILL

Build and maintain a tracking system for all EV charging incentive programs in high priority jurisdictions across the U.S. and Canada.

✅ Identify and report on EV charging product eligibility requirements, whether FLO’s products currently qualify, and if not, assist in developing a pathway to ensure timely qualification.

✅ Catalog all relevant incentive program information on databases including Salesforce to help the Sales Team track sales performance within those incentive programs. The Incentives Specialist will help provide regular reporting of incentive program performance to a variety of audiences.

✅ Work collaboratively and proactively with the Sales Team, Marketing Team, Product Team, and Public Affairs Team to:

  • Notify them of upcoming availability of incentives to support strategic and targeted marketing campaigns as well as help create and execute standard procedures with the marketing and sales teams to launch new campaigns.
  • Identify eligibility requirements disqualifying FLO’s products from being included in the incentive programs and work collaboratively with the relevant team members to overcome these barriers.
  • Oversee the qualification process of FLO’s products and services in priority incentive programs and develop strong, collaborative relationships with incentive program administrators.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support on whether advocacy around eligibility requirements is required.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned from incentive program requirements to inform the ongoing administration and development of existing and new incentive programs related to EV charging stations.
  • Support clients through the incentive application process and serve as a subject matter expert that can give them additional technical guidance.

ABOUT YOU

⚡ Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

⚡ Minimum 2 years conducting project management work or equivalent of relevant professional experience.

⚡ Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and efficient with team members’ time.

⚡ Must have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to move projects forward.

⚡ Must be a strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to discuss complex issues.

⚡ Must be a proactive individual; must be a self-starter and must have a problem-solver instinct.

⚡ Must be great with technical details and accuracy of reporting and communication.

⚡ Must be able to travel occasionally to conferences and company events.

⚡ Must be able to work during business hours for the East Coast timezone (candidate is ideally based in Central Time or Eastern Time, although not necessary if they will align their schedule with ET).
