Your Role

As our Electrical Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing safety procedures and protocols for all our electrical installations (a.o. our chargers, transformators, solar canopies and auxiliary systems) across Europe. You are our internal knowledge base for all things considering electrical safety. You know what standards need to be met, how to get there and how to make sure our engineers jump on that bandwagon.

You will report directly to our Health and Safety Manager. You will collaborate closely with other teams within Fastned, and OEMs in order to establish common ground in the field of electrical safety. This role can be based in either Amsterdam, Ghent or Cologne with regular travel across Europe.

In concrete terms, this means:

• Define and roll out a safety policy framework for all our fast-charging stations across Europe;
• Coordinate inspections with external partners on our electrical installations, report results and implement improvements;
• Create and implement working procedures for the operation of our Charge Point Operators and act as the main point of contact for our field engineers;
• Conducting periodic site inspections across all our fast-charging stations on Health and Safety;
• Collaborating closely with our Health & Safety Manager on providing advice and training on Health and Safety topics to our field engineers.
