Job Description

As the Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the service operations at Dandelion Energy. This key leadership role requires a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an experienced professional in HVAC systems. You will lead a team of service technicians, ensuring the highest level of customer service, operational efficiency, swift problem solving, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service technicians, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate company goals, safety policies, and updates.
  • Develop training programs to enhance the technical skills and customer service capabilities of the service team.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the day-to-day service operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure root cause analysis of service visits are documented while implementing a feedback loop of observations back to our installation teams
  • Maintain appropriate on call schedule taking into consideration current climate to ensure staffing levels are appropriate outside of normal working hours
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Informed and up to date on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in HVAC systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the service team, assisting in complex, effective and efficient problem-solving.
  • Provide after hours support as needed for on call technicians
  • Revenue Generation:
  • Manage team to an overall profit for each year
  • Train and mentor techs to drive uptake of premium service packages
  • Collaborate with leadership on commission plan design, service offerings, and sales goals
  • Monitor warranty services in order to service customers appropriately and profitably

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years prior experience running a service team preferred
  • College degree in engineering or related focus required
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the HVAC industry.
  • A track record of leading services organization to annual profits
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Compensation: $125,000-$130,000 + Bonus
