ConnectDER (www.ConnectDER.com) represents the next generation in US-based grid technology product development. Our flagship product, the Smart ConnectDER, is a plug-and-play interface for rapidly connecting residential solar photovoltaic systems and EV chargers to the grid and managing them using embedded telemetry and communications.

Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving our Marketing initiatives, promoting our brand, and increasing our online presence. This role requires a deep understanding of various Marketing strategies, exceptional communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset.

Core Functions/Duties

  • Support the Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications in the development and execution of comprehensive Digital Marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive online traffic, engagement, and conversions across multiple Digital Marketing channels, including but not limited to Social Media, Website, Email Marketing, and Paid Media.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize Email Marketing campaigns to nurture leads, retain customers, and drive sales.
  • Aid in the management of Paid Media campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Create visually compelling graphic designs including Social Media posts, Landing page designs, Email Marketing templates, display ads, and branded collateral such as sell sheets, brochures, presentations, and product documentation ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal in support of the Sales, Market Opening, and Product teams.
  • Oversee website design and development projects, including the creation of landing pages optimized for conversion and user experience.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and increase online visibility.
  • Occasionally manage photography and videography initiatives, including conducting or coordinating photoshoots and video production, and ensuring high-quality visual content for marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze Digital Marketing Campaign performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing, website design, SEO, and AI and incorporate those innovative strategies to keep our campaigns competitive.

Compensation range for this role begins at $75,000 + bonus + equity

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education

Bachelor of Science in Marketing (preferred)

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing Website design/development, Email Marketing, Paid Media, and Content Marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo), Marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Ads, with experience in campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with website design/development platforms, specifically Wordpress and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft compelling messaging for various digital channels.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and experience creating visual assets for Marketing campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.

US Salary Range

$70,000—$75,000 USD
