We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Finance to support the Senior Director of Finance in managing the financial health and operational effectiveness of our organization. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, planning, and process improvement, while managing a team of finance professionals. This role requires strong technical finance skills, team leadership, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes in collaboration with department heads.
• Business partner to the COO
• Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
• Monitor financial performance against plans and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Dutch GAAP / IFRS.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders and external parties.
• Assist with statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance with local financial regulations.

Operational Finance

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including general ledger, payroll support, and cash management.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business efficiency and financial discipline.

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.
• Set team objectives, ensure strong performance, and foster a collaborative working environment.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.

Systems & Process Optimization

• Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (e.g., ERP upgrades, AI enablement and other solutions).
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve reporting, automation, and accuracy
