Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated entry-level employee to join our environmental team in our Butte or Bozeman, Montana office. If you want to expand your career and expand your skills while working alongside talented experts, then this is the opportunity for you! You will be involved with project work from your first day, working side-by-side with experienced field technicians, engineers, and scientists to help clients address their environmental, health and safety challenges. What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?

Duties will include site inspections, surface water and groundwater sample collection, monitoring equipment inspection and maintenance, data gathering, contractor and sub-contractor oversight, health and safety program compliance, data management and evaluation (spreadsheet and database), and report writing.

What do you need to succeed?

BS in Engineering or related field.

0-3 years’ experience in the environmental field.

Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Access and database software preferred.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and OSHA compliance programs.

40-hour OSHA training is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.

Must be self-motivated, creative, and willing to work collaboratively.
