The role:

Vow is on the lookout for technicians to join the team immediately for ~5months (until ~end of August 2025) as we continue to establish operations for our 200L, 2000L and 20kL stainless steel bioreactors, In this role, you would be responsible for performing bioreactor setup tasks (cleaning and sterilisation processes), bioreactor cell culture activities (includes inoculation, media making, harvesting, monitoring, and other daily cell culture tasks), alongside general factory cleaning.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience within relevant industries, including bioprocessing, brewing or food manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience helping to operate the largest cultured meat production line in Australia!

Must haves:

• Relevant hands-on experience in relevant industries such as bioprocessing, brewing, fermentation, distilling or food/beverage manufacturing, either through tertiary study or through practical work experience
• Excels working in a team setting
• Ability to learn fast
• Ability to efficiently complete tasks independently while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible working hours, including weekends
• High attention to detail
• Ok with manual, labour intensive and repetitive work
