Job Description

At Volta we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle. Volta's award-winning charging stations benefit brands, consumers, and real-estate locations by providing valuable advertising space to businesses and convenient charging to drivers. Strategically located in places consumers already visit, Volta's chargers are currently the most used electric vehicle charging stations in the United States.

The Opportunity at Volta Charging

This is a critical role that further establishes Volta’s presence in New York. The role is instrumental in the growth and success of our auto team as well as the overall Volta sales team

Where you fit in:

In your first 90 days, you will:

  • Demonstrate mastery of the Volta Value Proposition in conversations with key stakeholders
  • Utilize existing relationships and contacts to further penetrate OEMs and their agencies
  • Advance conversations that will contribute to increased share on media buys
  • Have strategic partnerships conversations beyond media (ex: experiential, charge for charging, dealership solutions, etc.)

After twelve months, you will have accomplished:

  • Strong direct client and agency relationships with all OEM’s in the region
  • Involvement in every EV launch/sustain campaign, as well as multiple “always-on” sponsorships and non-EV campaigns
  • Lead and contribute to strategic partnerships at the OEM level as it pertains to experiential, charge for charging, dealership solutions, etc.
  • Achieve quarterly goals

What we need from you:

  • You bring a wealth of experience in the Automotive Media sales space
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and rolodex of automotive contacts
  • A passion for Volta’s mission, storytelling, consultative media sales and an eagerness to make a difference

Volta is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $138,425 - $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include discretionary performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
