About the Role

We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our growing London office. This role will sit in the Finance department in a small Treasury team, working alongside a Treasury Manager, another Treasury Analyst and our Head of Treasury, all based in London. This person will be responsible for the global treasury activities of Trailstone, including FX risk, transactional cash and banking activities, trade finance and Credit facility reporting. This role provides exposure in a fast-growing international commodity trading company, including an attractive compensation package and bonus scheme.

We operate a hybrid working pattern in the London office, working 3-days per week in the office and 2-days per week remote. Flexibility with our hybrid working pattern is offered after completion of your 16-week Trailstone Introductory Period.

This will be a full-time permanent role, owning the following responsibilities:

• Global cash management of the Group: internal and external funding of accounts and timely release.
• Cash forecasting: run daily weekly and monthly forecasts.
• Credit facility reporting: weekly and monthly reporting requirements and monitoring of covenants.
• Foreign currency (FX): monitor and manage Group FX exposure, hedging where required.
• Banking relationships: develop strong operational banking relationships.
• Assist in the implementation of a treasury management system and with projects related to processes or system improvements.

About You

This role suits an autonomous worker who appreciates a team environment. This person will be working in a small and agile team, providing impact by managing global treasury activities in a fast-paced commodities business. We are looking for somebody with prior experience in a commercial treasury team, preferrably in a similar business to our own (i.e. commodities, brokerage, private equity...). In addition to tangible working experience, we believe the following skills would best set this person up for success:

Requirements:

• Part-qualified or qualified in an appropriate finance qualification; i.e. CIMA, ACCA, CFA or ACT.
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle large data sets.
• Knowledge of financial instruments; i.e. Swaps, Future, Options, Forwards etc.
• Python skills, or the tangible interest to learn Python skills.
