Prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from project specifications, rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Makes final drawing packet based on Trachte job specifications.
• Ensures uniformity of design standards within dimensions, scaling text and proper computer assisted drafting (CAD) operations.
• Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired by the customer or Project Manager.
• Uses CAD equipment and software (Solidworks).
• Maintain job log and historical references.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Endeavors to create a workplace environment that is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product and focus on the customer, and provides room for individual responsibilities and ideas.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site 3 days a week in our Madison, WI office.
• Design - Translates concepts and information into images, uses feedback to modify designs, Applies Trachte design principles.
• Team Work - Balances team and individual responsibilities, contributes to building a positive team spirit, able to build morale and group commitments to objectives, supports Trachte’s efforts to succeed.
• Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
