With our innovative technology, we turn plant leftovers of the agricultural industry into a novel sustainable biomaterial - biobased, plastic-free and compostable. A material that leaves no harmful traces. With this, we want to replace as much plastics as possible, and this is where you come in.

As plant operator (f/m/x) you will complement our team to operate our Flagship Plant – our first plant on industrial scale. In addition to the usual tasks in production, you will tackle new challenges on a daily basis. You develop pragmatic solutions to optimize production, actively support production tests and gain experience for planning further plants. In this position ...

• You monitor and control the plant operation and document production parameters
• You take care of basic maintenance and cleaning of the plant
• You take and analyze basic quality samples
• You take over the supply of raw materials and the handling of products
• You share your knowledge about the processing of our material and ideas on how to improve the production with our development and quality teams
• You support production tests for the planning of further plants

You will spend your working days in an innovative work environment with start-up flair at our new TechHub in Hamburg-Harburg. You will work in a 4- or 5-shift system.

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship (e.g. chemical technician, machine and plant operator or comparable qualification)
• You have xx years of experience in xx
• You have a hands-on mentality and like to find pragmatic solutions to challenges
• You actively contribute your own ideas for plant/production optimization
• You are reliable and work independently
• You think innovatively, are open-minded, a team player and have a sense of humor
• You are proficient in both spoken and written English (and ideally German - we will be happy to support you here)
