Job Description

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 92 million registered users and 217,000 active partners across 18 countries, have together already prevented 317+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 857,000 tonnes of CO2e!

The role

Are you passionate about the world of People & Culture and eager to challenge yourself in the dynamic environment of a Danish scale-up tech company?

Too Good To Go is looking for a Student Worker approx. 15 hours per week to support our People & Culture team based at our global HQ in Østerbro, Copenhagen. You will be reporting to our Head of People & Culture for Denmark.

Being a scale-up means that we are growing fast; so bringing in the right people, getting them off to a good start and enabling a great employee experience, is essential to our continued success. As our People & Culture Student Worker you will be at the heart of this, by driving engaging onboarding experiences and providing seamless support throughout the employee lifecycle.

This is a role where you can grow and learn from a team of passionate People & Culture professionals, while at the same time your contributions directly influence our organisational growth and culture.

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Working with our Talent Acquisition team to post job ads that will attract our future talents.
  • Coordinating, executing and developing onboarding activities to support the experience of new colleagues joining.
  • Assisting our international colleagues and new joiners with work permits and information on working and living in Denmark.
  • Reliable employee data and documentation is the basis for everything we do, so ensuring that our HRIS-system, BambooHR, is precise and up-to-date throughout the employee lifecycle is a crucial part of the role.
  • Assisting the local HR team with ad-hoc tasks based on business needs and your continuous professional and personal development.

Desired Experience

  • Current Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Program: Ideally in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
  • A Keen Interest in People & Culture: You are genuinely interested in HR practices, especially in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience.
  • Prior Experience (Preferred but not Required): Any previous work or internship experience in HR, administration, or related areas will be considered a plus. We value hands-on experience, but we’re also open to passionate individuals ready to learn.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in both Danish and English, you are comfortable communicating with diverse teams.
  • Organisational Abilities: You’re known for your meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. •
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with tech tools and eager to learn new software, you’ll soon navigate our HR systems like a pro.
  • A Collaborative Spirit: Teamwork makes the dream work. You’re a team player who thrives in collaborative environments but can also take the initiative and work independently when needed.

Our Values

  • We win together
  • We raise the bar
  • We keep it simple
  • We build a legacy
  • We care
