Job Description

Tomorrow.io’s engineering department is focused on building life-changing software and products at scale, from infrastructure that handles massive amounts of data to outstanding customer-centric user experiences in B2B, B2C, and B2D products that change billions of lives worldwide. Every product that the user sees is the result of a pipeline of algorithms that needs to be run quickly and continuously. We focus on making everything become a weather station (from cars to microwave links to IoT devices).

We’re looking for a DevSecOps Engineer who will lead the integration of development, security, and operations across Tomorrow.io. You'll collaborate across teams, innovate security workflows, uphold our ownership culture, and enhance cloud security. Most of all, we are looking for someone with a passion to make sure we are building the biggest weather platform in the world.

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Tomorrow.io, You’ll:

  • Establish and lead the DevSecOps domain, setting security standards and best practices.
  • Seamlessly integrate security into the development and operations processes.
  • Collaborate with the Space, Weather, and SaaS divisions to tailor DevSecOps strategies.
  • Leverage and enhance existing security tools, identifying gaps and recommending new solutions.
  • Support the "you build it- you own it" culture, promoting end-to-end ownership with a security-first approach.
  • Stay updated with the latest DevSecOps trends, ensuring Tomorrow.io remains at the forefront of security and efficiency.

What you bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud security best practices on the major public clouds.
  • Proficiency in security tooling and processes.
  • Strong understanding of OS security, especially Linux.
  • Proactive problem-solving with a focus on security challenges.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a security-first mindset.

So if you're motivated by the challenge of pioneering the DevSecOps domain, have a keen eye for integrating security seamlessly into development and operations, and believe in empowering developers while leveraging the highest security standards - Tomorrow.io awaits you.

If your experience is close but doesn’t fulfill all requirements, please apply. Tomorrow.io is on a mission to build a special company. To achieve our goal, we are focused on hiring people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

Tomorrow.io is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
