Job Description
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of automated material handling systems for new and existing factories and programs at Gigafactory Texas (GFTX), specifically within Tesla’s Cell Manufacturing operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will be part of a highly skilled, agile team tackling some of the most ambitious projects in the manufacturing industry.
The Material Flow Engineering (MFE) team is responsible for developing innovative solutions to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of materials to Tesla's Cell Manufacturing lines. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will drive the development of automated material handling systems from concept to commissioning, including installation, ramp-up, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring system designs align with Tesla’s operational goals while providing mentorship and technical leadership to engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
