This position is expected to start around January 2025 and continue through the entire Winter term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the team

We are looking for a Systems Manager intern to support our Supply Chain Organization by leading improvements of key Tesla supply chain applications. You will be part of a team that is managing strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across all of Tesla’s Global Supply Management Team. The role requires the ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships with our software engineers, supply chain, finance, internal audit, and vendor onboarding teams, as you lead respective software development lifecycle from requirements articulation through feature deployment. You will interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including our buyers as well as executives on a regular basis. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing as well as presentation skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesize complex issues, drive desired outcomes, and influence stakeholders across functions inside and outside Tesla.
