Job Description
As Tesla continues to vertically integrate our operations, Tesla’s in-house cell group is looking for a highly motivated Cell and Process Modeling Engineer to work on a critical challenge facing the world’s energy transition. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of electrochemical process models and control systems for Tesla’s advanced 4680 battery production. This role combines cutting-edge battery technology with data science, focusing on developing and maintaining physics-based models for lithium-ion cells to support factory ramp-up and deliver cutting-edge battery technology. You will partner with cross-functional teams to transition new processes from initial design and prototyping to full-scale production, ensuring electrochemical performance and process reliability.
