This role is responsible to maintain and continuously improve business management systems for all battery recycling related activities associated with 3rd party suppliers, RCRA Universal Waste Program, ISRI Recycling Industry Operating Standard, NSF/SERI Responsible Recycling (R2) Standard, DOT Lithium Battery Transport, and State and Province-specific Recycling Laws. The systems include data from all Tesla business units, including Manufacturing, Service, Energy, and Insurance. The management system will also include financial tools to analyze, budget and forecast business spend. ​

The ideal candidate will ensure that compliant collection systems and improvements are well organized and executed. The candidate will work together in various cross-functional settings with- amongst others- Production, Policy, EHS&S, Finance, Sales, and Product Information departments. Furthermore, this role will support the Battery Recycling Programs Team in projects not related to end-of-life management such as new market entries, invoice systems and risk analysis. Hereby the role presents the opportunity to develop new skills in different business areas. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in both a self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. Ownership of work is extremely important.
