The Vendor Manager Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Vendor Manger to be responsible for overseeing the oversight and management of our vendor relationships. Our nationwide vendors work daily to manage and resolve customer issues by scheduling and sending technicians to our customers' homes to assess and fix the customer’s Sunnova systems. Vendors are a critical part of our operations as they strategically supplement our internal Sunnova workforce. This is a critical and strategic position as the role will have oversight of vendor operational performance, revenue generation and management of KPIs.
This position requires leadership to:
Exceed customer and operational expectation
Grow and develop vendor relationships
Ensure Vendors are executing to SLAs and Work Order Management and Distribution
Strategically grow and manage vendor coverage and scope
Improve efficiencies through process improvement and innovation.
Vendor Manager Responsibilities
Accountable for the overall oversight of
• Vendor Scope of Work
• State and Metro Coverage
• Assignment and Ingestion of WOs
• SLAs Adherence for WO acceptance and completion
• Contract Clarity in Incentives and Penalties
• Cost of Service Accountability
• Invoicing Process
Serve as Sunnova’s Primary Point of Contact for Vendors
• Fosters maintenance relationships with our Service Partners.
Manage KPIs and establish/maintain cadence of performance reviews of vendors
Accountable to control and limit aging of work orders distributed to vendors
Reviews service reports for accuracy and quality of work performed.
Provides guidance to team on how to troubleshoot solar systems.
Research and resolves dated service tickets to improve performance.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 5-6yearsofleadershipexperience
· Experience with either Direct Vendor Management and/or field operations management
· Management of non-Sunnova entities keeping them accountable for performance and comfortable with having difficult conversations around performance, billing, exiting vendors, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
· Working knowledge of Salesforce
· Experience with workforce management and quality assurance.
· Strongsolar,homeconstructionorresidentialelectricalknowledgepreferred.
· Bilingual Spanish (verbal and written)
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Experience at an energy, consumer products or high transaction business.
· Self-starter and self-learner
· PC skills; Microsoft Office -Excel, Word & Outlook.
· Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources.
· Strong written and communication skills to communicate with all levels of management.
· Detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
· Open office environment
Physical Requirements
· Ability to work at a computerfor6-8hoursper day
· Shift Coverage can range from Sunday through Saturday
· Hours can range from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Overnight shifts will be needed in the future
