THE BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST POSITION

Sunnova Energy is searching for Business Process Analyst responsible for enhancing the organization’s ability to meet objectives through the development of key performance indicators and implementation of a process improvement function for Sunnova’s direct sales and install departments. This team member will serve as the strategic process improvement representative collaborating with key stakeholders to implement change.

The preferred candidate will have significant experience in sales to activation journeys of residential solar customers. The candidate will have a strong command of PV, storage and adaptive home technologies and a demonstrated ability to lead teams in the technical specification and evaluation operation of these systems.

BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Owns process improvements within the Direct Sales and Installation channel.

• Drives business performance and sets priorities according to sustainable top and bottom-line impact.

• Manages and takes a lead role in promoting and improving quality processes, expectations, and results.

• Develop visual methods to measure improvement and monitor processes.

• Assesses, develops, establishes, and periodically reviews operational processes and systems based on business needs and customer experience.

• Reports on changes to internal and external standards and ensure continued communication of performance results to appropriate individuals, teams, and leadership.

• Develops & carries out lean training for employees.

• Develops/maintains product expertise across product suite and technologies.

• Reviews and ensures process documentation and process flows are developed for current and new processes; submits project and user story requests.

• Creates Business Requirement Documents

• Helps drive quarterly and annual installation & Inservice goals; insures performance toward the goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another related field

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of continuous improvement leadership across operations using Lean.

• 3+ years of experience in solar PV, storage adaptive home technology sales, operations, design, and / or customer care.

• Experience leading Kaizens and Agile work streams

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

• Advanced and highly skilled in Excel, Tableau, VBA, and SQL

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities

• Strong analytical skills complementing a desire to understand the “why” behind the numbers.

• A sound understanding of how to use and interpret data in problem solving, performance improvement and strategic planning.

• Desire to extend a culture of accountability, professionalism, and care.

Physical requirements

• Extended period of time working at a computer workstation
