Being an Accounts Payable Specialist is an exciting task, since you are the superhero our finance department needs. You keep the money rolling, therefore, these here are your most important tasks:

• Ensure all vendor invoices are processed accurately and timely in accounting system on a weekly basis.
• Maintain the vendor main data in system.
• Review and process travel expense documents of employees in travel expense system.
• Process the payment with Treasury team for vendors and employees on a weekly basis.
• Support with monthly and annual close for financial statements.
• Support with the AP inquiries, responding timely and professionally.
• Perform reconciliations with vendors monthly or quarterly.
• Understand the internal controls about AP transactions and integrate AP process.
• Participate in and contribute to the financial audit process to Accounts Payable.
• Submit and file Intrastat declarations.
• Ad-hoc financial tasks.

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:

• BA or MA Degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or similar field.
• Relevant professional experience in the accounting or similar role of the financial area.
• Good knowledge in accounting in general and familiar with the requirement of HGB, IFRS and Tax Law.
• Knowledge of MS Office, experience in DATEV and SAP is a plus
• English C1 and German ideally B2
