Project Location: Greece, Mainland
Period: July to August, 2025We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Soil Sampling Technicians for a Soil measurement project and Calibration campaign in the agricultural regions of Greece’s Mainland.
As a Soil Sampling Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting soil measurements using our FarmLab device - a specialized portable instrument that combines optical and electrical sensors to provide real-time soil analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for manually taking soil samples using an auger and assisting with the shipment of these samples to local laboratories. Your contributions will be vital to the success and local support of our innovative Stenon technology in Greece.

• Conduct soil measurements using the FarmLab device to obtain real-time soil analysis.
• Collect soil samples using an auger and hammer with precision and care.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate data collection (e.g. exact weighing of soil, check labelled sampling bags, freeze soil samples)
• Transport soil samples to local laboratories.
• Assist international Stenon team with Greek translation
• Handle other tasks assigned by the Team leader
• Possession of a valid car driving license.
• Language knowledge of Greek and English
• Experience with soil sampling or field work is a plus
• Physical fitness and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks in Greek field conditions (e.g. under heat)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and work in various field locations within Greece
• A basic understanding of local agricultural practices and conditions is advantageous
• A fixed contract with gross salary of 13€/h; estimated total campaign salary ca. 2000€ gross (depending on total work duration)
• Daily accommodation will be provided for the entire campaign duration
• Refund of travel expenses to/from Start/End basecamp
