What You'll Do

Our ideal FP&A Manager with experience in scaling technology companies and a passion for energy and power will be an integral contributor to the next generation of our business. You'll be supporting the CFO, CEO and VP, Corporate Development on the development and build out of a scalable financial planning and business forecasting function.

The FP&A Manager is a highly skilled and experienced analyst above all else, and a strategic thought partner and strong player in operational and finance teams. This individual will play a critical role in the planning and budgeting to ensure business strategy alignment and increase operational efficiency. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Development, this role will help develop and maintain control of business line budgets and planning as an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic.

You will:

• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts with a strong emphasis on analysis.
• Assist the leadership team in the preparation of annual budget submissions.
• Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.
• Support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Develop expert level financial models and variance analysis reports
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analyze trends and causes of variances
• Implement /manage business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
• Recommends strategies for measuring and improving financial performance
• Perform market research and develop market intelligence.
• Prepare and communicate quality presentations at a leadership level to articulate talent acquisition performance, pipeline and role status.
• Cultivate and manage healthy relationships with strategic partners and vendors
• Work closely with leadership peers to propose and implement performance optimizations and scaling strategies
• Support special projects and ad hoc requests, as required.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a planning and analysis role.
• Expert level Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Impeccable ability to translate complex financial metrics to diverse audiences.
• Ability to educate stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent follow-through.
• Must be driven and self-motivated.
• Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality.
• Deep skills in dashboards, report design and generation
• Ability to leverage technology to automate and scale
• Strong interpersonal skills, resiliency, and ability to lead with data and action
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and renewable energy a huge plus
