THE ROLE

As a Senior Innvation Engineer - Mechanical Design, you will play a crucial role in the product development process by leading the design and development of (new) Skytree products. Leveraging your extensive experience and technical expertise, you will contribute to the innovation and optimization of mechanical designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

• Driving conceptualization and innovation involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute innovative ideas for enhancing product performance and functionality
• Leveraging your deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles to develop new concepts and solutions
• Utilizing advanced 3D modeling tools to create detailed mechanical designs and conducting simulations and analyses to validate designs for performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Overseeing prototyping, rigorous testing, and collaboration with testing and quality assurance teams to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with specified requirements and standards.
• Collaborating and communicating design concepts across teams and stakeholders while integrating mechanical components seamlessly into the overall product architecture with electrical, software, and industrial designers.
• Optimizing design for cost-effective production by collaborating closely with manufacturing teams and providing support throughout the manufacturing process to address any design-related issues.
• Creating detailed design documentation, including drawings and specifications, while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Continuously learning about the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and design technologies, while implementing best practices and new techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the design process.
