Job Description

Skeleton Technologies is looking for a

Senior Battery Scientist


to join our Helsinki R&D Lab in the Aalto University KCL Laboratory building.

Our ultimate goal with Skeleton is to build a net zero future, and our role is to make sure the world is aware of how we can help save energy, cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and enable the energy transition.

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Support study of active materials.
  • Laboratory coating.
  • Laboratory calendaring.
  • EL cell assembly and testing.
  • Data analysis.
  • Manufacturing and testing of the prototype cells.
  • Expand the laboratory and equipment.
  • Literature research.
  • Writing publications and research reports.

Requirements

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • Master to PhD degree in chemistry or physics.
  • Previous work experience in the laboratory.
  • English - mandatory; Finnish & German – nice to have.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Carrying responsibility.

    Nice to have:
  • Experience with batteries or supercapacitors.
