MES Specialist (m/f/x)

with the vision to match our ambition!


Skeleton Technologies is seeking an experienced and tech-savvy MES Specialist (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your insights will contribute directly to the success of the overall company!

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Develop and enhance the Opcenter MES system, ensuring alignment with industry trends and organisational goals.
  • Customise and configure Opcenter to meet specific manufacturing requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing MES team to support and communicate with internal and external stakeholders about Opcenter.
  • Assist in managing and executing Opcenter implementation projects, focusing on integration, system optimisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of Opcenter training programs and provide support and troubleshooting to enhance user experience.
  • Participate in shaping the organisation's digitalisation strategy, particularly in aspects related to MES and Opcenter.

Requirements

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfil to succeed in this role:

  • Knowledge of MES concepts and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Siemens Opcenter MES, with strong skills in system configuration and customisation.
  • Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and real-time data processing.
  • Experience in system integration (ERP, SCADA & other 3rd party systems).
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and smart factory initiatives would be a plus.
  • Certifications or further education in MES, industrial automation, or similar fields would be plus.
