Job Description

Hi, we are Samotics! With our unique, AI-driven solution we help many of the world's largest industrial companies reduce energy waste, water pollution events and unplanned downtime. Join us in our mission to make industrial companies more sustainable.

Over the past year, Samotics has seen a large surge in the successes and value generated for its growing customer base. After successful funding rounds, closing strategic partnerships and landing large framework agreements with end-users, we have recently introduced a Strategic Accounts team to help us continue our rapid growth with our most important customers. Given increasing demand for our services, we are looking to hire an additional Strategic Account Executive to join this team, with a focus on our European Water business.


About the team 👋

The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is part of the Strategic Accounts Team. The purpose of the team is to scale up our strategic accounts to their full potential across the globe. This includes asset owners and Original Equipment Manufacturers.

The SAE will work with both central and local customer teams, as well as multiple teams within Samotics including Business Development and Customer Success Management.


Your challenge 🎯

You will be responsible for scaling a set of Samotics’ priority accounts, driving sales after initial results have been realized. Your key responsibilities:

  • End-to-end commercial responsibility for scaling key accounts in our top priority industry verticals (e.g. by negotiating Global Framework Agreements to facilitate large-scale roll-outs).
  • Develop strong relationships with our largest customers and partners to realize significant expansion of our Average Contract Value.
  • Lead and coordinate large tender processes (at asset owners).
  • Close new strategic partnerships
  • Build our brand and market presence and be a role model of our cultural motto (‘act instead of react’) as we scale across the globe.
  • Continuously gather and synthesize market feedback to improve our product and provide strategic guidance to other teams within Samotics.
  • Occasional travel will be required.
