  • Create and control a rigid framework of revision histories across hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical releases.
  • Assist the hardware team in managing internal changes to products as they develop in maturity.
  • Serve as the formal boundary between engineering and procurement to ensure that design files, bills of material, manufacturing instructions, and testing requirements are consistently up to date.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, hardware development, or related fields
  • Proven experience taking a hardware product from idea to launch (ideally at scale)
  • Ability to balance technical, operational, and business tradeoffs when making decisions
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, firmware, software)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain, and vendor management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to define and measure product success metrics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and with customers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience with integrated hardware/software systems is a strong plus
  • Background in IoT, building systems, or energy/climate tech is a plus

Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 based on experience level

  • Setbacks fuel progress.
  • Efficiency is vital.
