Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious and visionary full stack developer to become our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and shape the technical direction of Root’s platform, with the potential to earn equity based on performance and contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the building of the next iteration of the Root product with a hands-on approach, contributing to both front-end and back-end tech development
- Lead the transition from a low-code MVP to advanced, scalable technology solutions, including the development and integration of innovative features
- Build and manage the future direction of a dynamic tech team, complemented by external freelancers, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency
- Design and craft the company’s long-term tech strategy
Experience Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in web app development, experience with mobile will be advantageous
- In depth Full-Stack development capabilities
- Proven experience in independently leading complex technology projects
- Strategic thinker with outstanding leadership, self-management and communication skills.
- Impact-driven and ambitious mindset
Preferred Experience
- Previous senior experience within an early stage start up
- Some development experience with low-code tools (E.G. Bubble)
