Responsibilities Engineer the Core: Take ownership of our HiL platforms, managing, upgrading, and optimizing them to achieve peak performance and unparalleled efficiency. Automate the Extraordinary: Spearhead automation initiatives, establishing and refining HiL processes and automated pipelines that redefine industry standards. Innovate and Elevate: Design, develop, and enhance cutting-edge automation frameworks and scripts, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Accelerate Development: Play a crucial role in the development of efficient CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and rapid deployment. Collaborate and Conquer: Work hand-in-hand with brilliant software and remote HiL engineering teams, fostering a culture of shared success. Solve the Unsolvable: Partner cross-functionally to tackle and resolve complex support and field issues, meticulously tracking bugs and ensuring their complete verification and closure. Drive Decision-Making: Provide timely and insightful status updates, empowering informed release readiness decisions. Qualifications 5+ years of Embedded/Platform Software testing experience Expertise in scripting and programming, especially Python (C/C++ is a plus) Knowledge in Linux or QNX environments with Shell Scripting Knowledge of Socket Programming, TCP/IP, and HTTP Experience in testing automotive ECUs and protocols like CAN and Ethernet Board-level testing proficiency Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins Self-motivated with cross-functional collaboration skills Excellent communication, testing, and troubleshooting abilities Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
