Role Summary The Specialist, Employee Communications & Experience is a passionate champion of our mission, Compass Values, culture and ensure our event strategies are meaningful and support our employees and the community at Rivian’s future manufacturing facility in Georgia. This position requires frequent event attendance which can occur on weekends and evenings. It may require travel to different areas of Georgia, including Atlanta, Covington and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities Work closely with the Lead Employee Communications & Experience Partner to support and execute a robust events calendar in Georgia Support community engagement through building meaningful local connections, school visits, tours and other related activities Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans and logistics schedules Manage vendors of all aspects of meetings and events (lodging, catering, AV, setup and design, transportation, security, etc.) Conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution Assist in financial management including budget creation, monitoring revenue/expense performance throughout the planning process to ensure cost control Prepare post-event reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 2-5 years of experience in event management and/or community relations.
