Role Summary Join Rivian and our amazing teams as a Senior QA Engineer - Infotainment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve and maintain Rivian’s automation library. Be part of the development and design of software automation of end-to-end customer use cases. Responsibilities Make automation framework robust & modular with utility files and structured test Rewrite and restructure existing tests to create a uniform format and environment Responsible for maintaining and improving the overall health and stability of Rivian’s automation library Troubleshoot and debug issues in automation framework and test cases Develop, Design, and maintain software automation of end-to-end customer use cases Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the rest of the development teams to ensure growing test coverage Role should consist of 85% coding/automation work, 15% manual testing or test development Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience working as software developer, SDET, or QA Engineer heavily utilizing Python Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality code in Python Familiarity with Android and Linux systems Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle Excellent documentation and organization skills Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate Great teammate with a thirst to learn and take ownership in a fast-paced environment Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements Self-starter requiring minimal direction Bonus qualifications: Prior experience in testing media or streaming applications similar to Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, etc. Prior experience in testing applications leveraging GPS and Navigation features such as Google Maps, Waze, etc. Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
