Working together, we’ll create a future that’s more connected, more intelligent, more sustainable for everyone. Role Summary The Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable and T&E is a hands-on, operational role responsible for the end-to-end execution of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and the administration of Travel & Expense (T&E) reporting. This role ensures the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and associated payments, acting as a crucial interface between employees, vendors, and the finance system. This position is central to maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger and upholding internal controls. As an agile professional with a collaborative spirit, you will adapt swiftly to the ever-changing landscape. You will play a vital part in executing process improvements and upholding our commitment to financial precision and operational excellence, supporting the successful financial close process for our international entities. Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Perform high-volume data entry, coding, and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate general ledger coding and adherence to company policies. 3-Way Matching: Execute the matching of purchase orders (PO), goods receipts (GR), and vendor invoices to facilitate accurate and timely payment. Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring required documentation (e.g., tax forms, banking details) is current and verified to support compliance. Payment Execution Support: Prepare payment batches and documentation for review by Treasury/Accounting teams, ensuring payments are executed accurately and on schedule. Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for vendor inquiries and internal stakeholders regarding invoice status, payment timing, and coding discrepancies. System Administration: Manage the company's T&E system (e.g., Concur), ensuring configurations are up-to-date and user access is accurate. Expense Report Review: Perform detailed audits of employee expense reports to ensure strict compliance with the company's travel and expense policy, including proper documentation and approval workflows. Credit Card Reconciliation: Assist in the monthly reconciliation of corporate credit card statements against submitted expense reports. Training & Support: Provide excellent customer service and training to employees on T&E policy and system usage, ensuring a positive user experience. Month-End Support: Prepare supporting schedules for Accounts Payable and related general ledger accounts to assist with the monthly financial close process. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the P2P and T&E processes and propose practical solutions for system or workflow improvements to increase speed and accuracy. Controls: Maintain and execute internal controls over all transactional processes, assisting in documentation for internal and external audit requests. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, general accounting, or a dedicated shared service environment. Experience with T&E administration. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting standards and payables process, with proven experience supporting external audits and statutory reporting requirements. Familiarity with SOX compliance is a plus. Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with a major ERP and T&E system (SAP & Concur experience highly preferred) and financial applications such as BlackLine. Skills: Highly proficient in spoken and written English. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams globally. Mindset: A proactive, "doer" mentality with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
