Role Summary Internship Term: Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2024 to June 2026. Note that if your university has specific requirements for internship programs, it is your responsibility to fulfill those requirements. This candidate will support the procurement of Battery and Body structure components for Rivian vehicles. Sourcing commodities include castings, extrusions, roll-forms etc. This team owns the purchasing of parts from cradle to grave, and supplier identification to deliver a finished good. Responsibilities Expand your knowledge of program management, and analytics skills to support Rivian's Body procurement teams. Support the development of systems and processes against business priorities. Perform detailed analysis of quote submissions based on cost breakdown form data Support supplier relationships and performance through evaluated key performance metrics Support the review of Engineering, Design & Development (ED&D) costs Work closely alongside Program Management to support prototype requirements, execute against build milestones and track sourcing progress Qualifications Must be currently pursuing an MBA, or similar STEM Masters program with an emphasis in Supply Chain. Must have an analytical mindset Profiency with Microsoft Excel, required. Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, required. Must be willing to perform at a high-level of autonomy to execute on project deliverables. Previous experience with SAP, strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to deliver against business priorities and influence decision making. Strong written and verbal communication skills. #LI-[SAI7] Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law. Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
