Responsibilities Develop test automation frameworks and integrate them with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Collaborate with software developers in test plan and test script development to provide effective requirements coverage of Rivian’s Autonomy Stack Engage developers and system engineers to isolate, reproduce, and resolve software issues. Utilize debugging tools and techniques to analyze and troubleshoot problems in ADAS software modules. Perform hands-on testing of platform/embedded software. File and track bugs from opening to closure after verification. Report defects and follow-through as necessary to complete the testing cycle. Provide timely status updates and assist the team in making decisions about release-readiness. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, test engineers, and project managers, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of Autonomy software. Experience or familiarity with self-driving stack and its components such as Controls, Perception, Planning, Sensor Fusion and Localization. Familiar with test platforms such as dSpace, National Instrument or Opal RT. Qualifications 3+ years of Embedded/Platform Software testing experience Experience in testing automotive ECUs Experience in automotive protocols such as CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN Python and pytest framework expertise Linux or QNX and Programming expertise Board-level testing experience Self-motivated with the ability to work cross-functionally. Excellent communication, testing and troubleshooting skills. Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
