About Redwood Materials
Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
Senior Technical Program Manager, Plant Engineering

- Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and site leadership to define projects with clear scope, budget, timeline, and success criteria
- Develop concepts and basic engineering packages, coordinate design, and ensure solutions are practical for a live manufacturing environment
- Drive execution, startup, and commissioning while managing risks, resources, contractors, and cross-functional alignment
- Communicate regularly with senior leaders and executives, providing clear updates, recommendations, and escalation on project priorities, tradeoffs, and risks
- Build business cases, prioritize investments, and improve how projects are tracked, approved, and delivered across the site.
Desired Qualifications
- BS or MS in Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience leading projects in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- Experience managing plant improvement projects in a live production facility from concept through commissioning
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:
