Job Description

We are currently looking for you to join as a Performance, Prototype and Testing Engineer (m/f/d) for our R&D department!

  • Definition & development of the necessary test/validation methods for the respective project(s)
  • Planning, coordination, execution and documentation of prototype construction/conversion as well as validation and testing tasks (DVP) on time and within budget.
  • Carrying out vehicle tests to check maturity, performance level and progress.
  • Document and report the validation and test program and deliverables
  • Shaping the future performance of Quantron vehicles
  • Close coordination with the respective internal departments
  • Support with troubleshooting
  • Planning, coordination, execution and documentation of prototype build/overhaul and validation and testing tasks
  • Creation of a sufficient database for approval by the engineering department
  • Achieving the overall targets for vehicle performance
  • Completed technical studies (FH, TU), ideally in the field of vehicle technology and/or electronics
  • Broad and in-depth know-how in commercial vehicle technology
  • Truck driver's license
  • Cross-functional understanding of all R&D functions such as ME, software, EE, etc.
  • Workshop training (commercial vehicle/vehicle mechanic/mechatronics technician/master craftsman or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the field of total vehicle protection in the area of electrics/electronics
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office, engineering tools such as Dialog, FiNAS, KERS, INCA, DTS-Monaco, CANape)
  • Language skills in German and English
