Position Description

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to join as our Quality Specialist. As a Quality Specialist, you will ensure that our incoming parts and outgoing products meet the quality standard, free of defects, and received/produced according to internal specifications. You will be conducting product tests and assessment, identifying product defects, recording and reporting issues, making necessary repairs and supporting continuous improvement.

This will be a 4-month temporary position.

• Location: Tukwila, WA
• Pay rate: $26 to $33 per hour, depending on skills and competency
• Paid time off

What You'll "Mostly" Do

• Examines company's documents to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.
• Inspects products to determine compliance with specifications and drawings
• Material receiving inspection
• First article inspections
• Process Inspections
• Final part inspections
• Non-conformance reports
• Supports data analysis and reporting of company metrics.
• Assists in following up on corrective actions to ensure timely completion.

What We Look for First

• One-year related dimensional inspection experience and/or training with GD&T experience
• A growth mindset and a problem-solver
• Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent reading comprehension and proficiency with written and spoken English
• Proficient with Google suite and office applications
• Ability to work effectively with others in both an office and warehouse environment
• Ability to work under minimum supervision with good time management skills
• Experience in using ERP/MRP/MES
