Position Description

The Inventory Control Technician will be responsible for setting up and managing the inventory control process at our new factory at Beech Bottom, WV. The individual will provide support to our production and manufacturing by efficiently moving inventory and materials across the site. They will also work closely with different teams including production control, assembly lines, and shipping teams to ensure that overall operations run smoothly. We are looking for a detail oriented and process driven individual to manage inventory levels, track inventory movements, ensure accuracy of inventory records, and assist with supply chain management.

  • Location: Beech Bottom, WV
  • Pay type: Hourly, Non-exempt
  • Pay range: $18 to $25 per hour

What You’ll “Mostly” Do

  • Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP system.
  • Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
  • Analyze inventory reports and make recommendations for optimizing inventory levels.
  • Work closely with purchasing and production teams to coordinate inventory replenishment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Assist with supply chain management as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Perform heavily physical tasks that may include lifting up to 60lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We Look for First:

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency and experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
