We are seeking an equally passionate Senior Operations Manager to help further our mission through excellent craftsmanship, customer service, and a team-focused approach.

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the Channel Operations team is properly reviewing all documentation and technical reviews for Channel Projects. The manager will help build and execute to Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring that all active Channel deals are accurate, clean and ready for asset management handoff. They will serve as a liaison between the Channel Operations team, Fund Management, and IT for any program or system changes/improvements necessary for the above. They will also serve as a liaison between the Channel Business Development team to provide insight and clear communication regarding system changes/improvements that will directly or indirectly affect the Channel partners.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage, train, onboard, and develop a team of Channel program contract reviewers and technical review specialists.
  • Establish SLAs and KPIs for all review functions; track progress against them and identify opportunities for improvement where necessary. Ensure team has appropriate coaching and tools to succeed.
  • Develop effective SOPs for both contract reviewers and technical review specialists; ensure compliance of teams to the SOPs.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert as it pertains to Install quality in each state where PosiGen Channel program operates and characteristics of a complete install and project.
  • Ability to conduct remote site inspections confirming PV installation was installed per PosiGen standards and meets building and electrical codes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all steps related to contract approval for Channel sales contracts.
  • Coordinate and run a variety of internal and external meetings to ensure proper coordination of new processes and proper execution of Channel current processes.
  • Apply Continuous Process improvement to the Channel Department by identifying, documenting and streamlining any process bottlenecks or inefficiencies to ensure efficient and effective solutions.
  • Ensure proper change management protocols are followed and approval obtained by the Director of Operations and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Develop high performing team members to provide upward management ability and opportunity.
  • Ensure adequate team capacity and provide forecasting future needs for growth; includes staff planning and providing management tools and other resources required to deliver on quality and efficiency in a high growth environment.
  • Handle escalations from from partners and stakeholders with particular focus on root cause analysis and identifying systematic solutions.
  • Ensure Company policies pertaining to management of personnel, including managing time cards, approving time off, setting goals, providing coaching, feedback and regular performance check-ins and reviews are adequately met.

Education/Experience

  • BS or BA degree preferred.
  • 4+ years in residential solar industry; Third Party Ownership financing experience strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years experience working directly with various companies, state and municipal governments and/or Utility organizations in permit submissions, installation procedures, and all necessary documentation required for incentive markets.
  • 2+ experience managing teams to data-driven performance standards; defining KPIs and measuring team’s performance against them.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building and implementing new processes.
  • Experience with solar industry savings-based and incentive management tools and platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred.

Base Salary

$85,000—$95,000 USD
