We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Sourcing Manager – Battery Recycling to secure the feedstock supply essential for our growth. In this crucial role, you will be the linchpin in driving feedstock supply business development, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with feedstock suppliers. You will report to our Chief Commercial Officer and collaborate closely with our commercial and technical teams. The working location is flexible within France.

Responsibilities

As Sourcing Manager - Battery Recycling, you will:

• Drive the complete process from initiating the first customer dialogue to handling the practicalities of delivering waste batteries to our production sites.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for getting feedstock materials (waste lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles, energy storage systems and other industrial batteries).
• Develop partnerships with logistics companies to ensure smooth transportation processes in Europe.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with feedstock suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, operations, quality control) to ensure that feedstock you source is carried to our facilities and is processed by our operational team.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring they align with our business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with sourcing processes to ensure business continuity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and regulations to make informed sourcing decisions.
