About the job

The Physical security access coordinator has a key role in ensuring the right physical access rights are given to the right individuals from defined requirements and instructions. This role is our first line of support and will serve thousands of end-users at site!

The physical security access coordinator will belong to the physical security team serving the site and the primarily responsibility is to provide on-site support and assistance to end-users within Northvolt ́s physical security access environment. This role requires a strong focus on resolving giving, revoking, and ensuring that users have the correct access rights from a “need to have”-principle to perform their jobs effectively.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Add and revoke physical access rights to the local site according to given routines,
• Handling service requests regarding physical security access rights through our ticketing software systems,
• Support improving the routines of how physical access rights should be given on site,
• Collaborate with colleagues in similar roles across Northvolts sites and be responsible for the system and the system owner for the access rights systems Northvolt uses.
• Understand how and support that the "security zone-concept" is used at the site's different locations/areas and that it's continuously reviewed and improved, as well in relation to physical security access rights.

The candidate for this role needs to be service-minded, has the skills and personality to handle physical security access rights and high self-leadership qualities. As the tasks are varied and based on prioritization, it is important that the individual in this role easily can switch focus between different tasks. The individual in this role is driven by working in a team and sees the benefits of sharing knowledge and experience. The Physical Security Access Coordinator will also support the implementation of the physical security awareness at the site. It is a key role supporting the business regarding physical security and collaborating with Northvolt colleagues mainly on site but as well with the same role cross sites.
