What we're looking for:

Nexamp is seeking to hire an experienced Battery Storage Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating with existing subcontractors, as well as onboard new subcontractors all in various markets across U.S. You will also interact with designers, project managers, electricians, and the Nexamp Energy Center (NEC). You will thoroughly review maintenance documentation for anomalies and track/complete follow-up repair as needed. You will be field based out of Haverhill, MA, and will report into the Director of Service.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the Battery Module Balancing program
  • Oversee BESS Maintenance program management
  • Schedule and coordinate BESS service
  • Act as the BESS Emergency Response liaison
  • BESS related inventory management
  • Scheduling and contractor coordination
  • Procure materials and equipment as needed
  • Manage relationships with Utilities, EPC Contractor, and O&M Services company
  • Administrative tasks to include quote/estimate creation, RMA documentation, BESS Field Service
  • Report management including, BESS Maintenance report & Emergency response documentation

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License in good standing
  • PV System maintenance experience
  • Computer knowledge and competency with Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel
  • Distributed generation battery storage maintenance experience preferred
  • 3+ years of distributed generation PV service and maintenance experience preferred
  • Manufacturer, Inverter, PCS & BESS certifications and training preferred
  • Electrical license preferred but not required
  • Remote troubleshooting/technical support experience is preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
