THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a dynamic finance professional who is eager to work closely with our Senior Finance Manager and the rest of the Munich- based Finance Team to support the execution of NavVis' finance strategy.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Assisting the Finance & Accounting team with account receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, month and year-end closing, banks and accounts reconciliations, etc.
• Manage vendor files and prepare 1099 forms annually
• Review, correct, and process expense reports in SAP Concur
• Calculate sales tax, file sales tax, and pay sales tax returns.
• Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks, and reading professional publications.
• Identify any taxes owed or to be received
• Monitor and respond to tax authority communications

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge and experience in accounting including AP, AR full cycle
• Strong attention to details, accuracy and ownership of tasks and deliverables
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in multi-state sales and use tax.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook required and Concur, MS Dynamics Sales and F&O preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Reliable time management skills (meet deadlines, assure timely completion, etc.)
