Job Description

Are you passionate about sustainability & the natural world? Do you want to help make a difference in the way businesses interact with the environment? We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (all genders) to join our team to build & drive forward our software solutions to help businesses become nature positive.

We are a small team developing a software solution that enables businesses to measure, manage and report their nature-related impacts and risks. For this, we are building up a geospatial data platform with data on nature and biodiversity to understand the condition of nature across business sites. On top of this, we are developing intelligence for the quantification of businesses' nature-related impacts and dependencies and the financial risks and opportunities they imply. Our mission is to make nature the #1 stakeholder for businesses. We’d love for you to join us to accelerate this journey!

You’ll work closely with the CPO, CTO and biodiversity experts to architect new features & services of our solution: having a stake in the direction of our entire product suite! Some of the tasks you’ll be working on include:

  • Define product requirements, features, and functionalities based on market needs and customer feedback.
  • Develop and maintain a clear and actionable product roadmap.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify market trends and opportunities in the fast evolving space of corporate nature & biodiversity management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in product management, showcasing a successful track record of bringing products to market.
  • Work experience in a start-up environment, demonstrating a profound understanding of the challenges and pitfalls associated with building products from scratch.
  • Proven experience in B2B software solutions, illustrating a deep understanding of the unique dynamics and requirements of the B2B sector.
  • Essential experience with data-driven products, showcasing an ability to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making; experience in handling geo-spatial data is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to navigate the complete product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, with a keen eye for detail in each phase.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable product strategies. Willingness to embrace the complexity of our topic while striving for an easily interpretable product.
  • Demonstrated adaptability in navigating the evolving landscape of startups, showcasing resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely; German is a plus.
  • Team. You join a driven team in Zürich or Berlin who deeply cares about nature and people.
  • Recreation. Take advantage of your 26 days' holiday per year, regardless of location or local holidays. Plus: We give you an extra day off on your birthday!
  • Flexibility. With our hybrid work culture, you can organize your life the way it suits you. Work on-site in our offices in Berlin or Zurich and from home - whatever suits you and your team.
  • Workation. Work up to 90 days per year remotely in other European countries.
  • Equipment. We give you a fixed budget to equip your workspace at home.
  • Learning. We create an environment that facilitates learning - expect a long-term development perspective in a growing organization.
  • Retail Discounts. Get attractive discounts from sustainable brands through our partner platform.
  • Fun. We like to celebrate our successes, preferably with the whole team. Therefore, you can look forward to various events and parties.
