Mitiga is a spinoff of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, which hosts MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe.

Mitiga's mission is firmly rooted in employing cutting-edge science and technology to mitigate the multifaceted risks posed by climate-driven perils. Our approach spans a spectrum of temporal scales, from real-time and annual forecasts to projections spanning the next century. Who you are

You a forward-thinking, results-driven talent acquisition specialist ready to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing tech company. Mitiga Solutions is seeking an exceptional individual to join our dynamic People & Culture team and play a pivotal role in shaping our future.

As a Climate Specialist TA Partner at Mitiga Solutions, you'll:

  • Be a strategic business partner, working closely with our People & Talent Lead to build partnerships, awareness and to build branding within the Climate ecosystem
  • Lead the market research, competitor analysis, networking and partnership engagement, utilizing the networks of our prestigious Mitigators
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing top talent to onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for candidates and our growing team.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define candidate selection criteria, and design tailored recruitment campaigns that attract the best and brightest minds in the tech industry.
  • Act as point of contact for employee referrals
  • Be a master of employer branding, crafting compelling narratives that showcase Mitiga Solutions as a vibrant, innovative, and purposeful workplace that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Explore uncharted territories, diving into the world of social media, CV databases, and professional networks to uncover hidden gems and build a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Leverage LinkedIn's full potential, utilizing its advanced search tools and engagement features to proactively source candidates who align perfectly with our open positions.
  • Be a GDPR Ambassador - confidentially maintaining comprehensive documentation of recruitment processes, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach to talent acquisition
  • Stay ahead of the curve, continuously tracking industry trends and adopting innovative recruitment methodologies to keep Mitiga Solutions at the forefront of tech talent acquisition.

Requirements

Your Experience & Impact

If you're a dynamic, results-oriented individual with a passion for shaping the future of talent acquisition, this role is for you. We seek a Talent Acquisition Partner who possesses:

  • A strong knowledge of the climate tech industries, regulations and scientific profiles within various scopes of Climate, Academia & Sustainability
  • A pre-built network within climate science, climate tech, research centers and other ecosystems within the industry
  • A proven track record of success in full-cycle recruitment and employer branding, driving results for leading climate - tech companies.
  • Mastery of social media, CV databases, and professional networks to identify and source top talent.
  • Expertise in using LinkedIn solutions to proactively source candidates, leverage its networking features, and engage with potential recruits.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, candidate assessment, and communication skills to establish rapport, build trust, and effectively evaluate candidates.
  • Experience and comfort in working autonomously and proactively to ensure targets are met and procedures are optimized.
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail, maintaining complete records and ensuring seamless processes.
  • A progressive mindset, eager to embrace new technologies and innovative approaches to talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment and employer branding.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting within the space of climate/environmental science or climate tech profiles.
  • Bachelor degree in environmental science, mathematics, data or tech is preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with additional languages (such as Catalan) a significant advantage.
  • Experience within building partnerships and/or ecosystems and a passion for market research
