Founded in 2018, Mitiga Solutions provides climate risk intelligence that combines science, AI and high-performance computing. We help our customers analyse, report and act on their business exposure to climate risk through our self-serve platform EarthScan™ and our risk models.

Who you are

We're on the lookout for a Science Communications Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team and work closely with our science and engineering teams. Your will own all of our science and product-related communication and help distill our unique blend of science and technology to specialist and non-specialist audiences.

You have a science background with a least a Masters Degree in a scientific field, preferably in the Climate or Earth Sciences. You’ve honed your skills over at least 5 years of professional experience in a think tank, research center or technology company

You are an expert science writer with superb writing skills in English plus great storytelling and analytical abilities.

Finally, you share our values of using science and technology for the greater good and believe that building resilience to climate change is an urgent challenge.

Requirements

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise communications for product release, constructing written content to aid change management and meet customer needs.
• Develop user guides, white papers, manuals, and training materials to allow customers to understand how to use Mitiga products.
• Determine and deliver content suitable for a range of specialist and non-specialist customers that speaks to their business needs. Clearly communicate insights and technical approaches in writing, including documenting analytical methodologies and other outputs appropriate for use by specialists as well as non-specialists
• Help improve processes, methods, and tools for how content is created, delivered, and maintained
• Incorporate analytics and feedback to develop future scientific content strategy and optimize the customer experience.
