We are a green-tech company shaping the energy industry towards a more sustainable future. At Lumenaza, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the world of decentralized and renewable energy. Our mission is to drive the energy transition forward — with passion and innovation.
Lumenaza stands for clear values: sustainability, diversity, and collaboration. We take pride in our diverse team and are committed to supporting women in tech.
You will receive thorough onboarding into the energy market processes and gain access to an exciting, future-proof industry. We know how complex the energy market can be, which is why we actively share our expertise to ensure you can succeed, regardless of your previous experience in the sector.
We invite you to join our growing development team as a Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d) in Berlin.
- Ensure Quality:
You make sure that our software products meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and performance – throughout the entire development lifecycle. - Drive Test Automation:
You develop and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework, Selenium, Docker, and Kubernetes, and integrate them seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines. - Bug Tracking & Reporting:
You work closely with the development teams, prioritize critical bugs, and create meaningful reports that are understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Cover Complex Scenarios:
Whether end-to-end tests, greybox tests, or performance analyses – you choose the right methodology to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Live Teamwork:
You collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps colleagues and support a “shift-left” testing culture. - Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer:
You assist colleagues with QA-related topics, share your knowledge, and contribute fresh ideas to our QA setup. - Continuous Improvement:
You continuously develop our QA processes, tools, and methods, driving automation and efficiency across our testing landscape.
Do you want to help shape the energy industry?
We value quality, a sense of responsibility, and a commitment to implementing excellent solutions sustainably.
- At least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer in Test
- Excellent knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methods (e.g., end-to-end, greybox, load, and performance testing)
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with test suites (e.g., Selenium, Pytest, Cypress, Jest, Playwright)
- Experience in automation and integration of tests (e.g., Robot Framework, Behave, Mocha, TestNG)
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools for test environments (e.g., Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes)
- Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and test integration (e.g., GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of bug tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira)
- Analytical thinking and a structured work approach
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Passion for clean code, automation, and modern testing methodologies
- Experience working with Linux systems Nice-to-have:
- Basic understanding of the German energy market and regulatory requirements
