· Support build events on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, build quality standards, and documentation of lessons learned.

· Collaborate with lab and test teams to ensure seamless handoff of prototype hardware for validation and testing activities.

· Champion continuous improvement in prototype build processes, documentation, and cross-functional communication.

· Work with environment, health, and safety team to maintain and improve safety of the lab.

Qualifications:

· Strong understanding of prototype build processes, including assembly processes, BOM management, component readiness, and build sequencing.

· Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) to review product designs for manufacturability and to support the design of tools, fixtures, and prototype hardware.

· Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or 3DX.

· Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality) to deliver complex hardware builds on aggressive timelines.

· Demonstrated ability to track and manage inventory, coordinate logistics, and ensure material readiness for prototype builds.

· Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly report status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

· M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
