The Jr Facility Maintenance Team Member will be assigned to work with a qualified Facilities Maintenance Team Member within his/her assigned team. This will allow for training in safe work practices, understanding team goals and allows for personal growth through OJT and classroom training plans.

Candidates should work to achieve knowledge of all Facilities Systems and equipment for all assigned areas. Must Learn to develop strategies to meet team and company goals.

The Jr. Tech will report to their assigned Maintenance Team Trainer as well as various supervisors and managers throughout the Facilities organization. The candidate must be willing to learn the assigned facilities systems, be a problem solver, communicate and be a self-starter in the execution of daily activities. The Jr. Tech must practice good teamwork and participate in team building activities within our team and the Lucid organization.

You Will:

  • Understand the Lucid Production System.
  • Understand and embrace the 6S process.
  • Understand and embrace the CMMS process.
  • Support for other departments as required to sustain production needs
  • Adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.
  • Perform other task as assigned, permanent or temporary to support efficiency in operations.
  • Works closely with all facets of the Facilities Team to provide technical expertise or assistance.
  • Enforce and follow all Safety rules and regulations.
  • Communicative to production group and various internal customers as appropriate the status of responsible equipment and effects to operations.
  • Professional, informative, and responsive communication skills.
  • Candidate must be proficient in general office PC programs and equipment monitoring systems.

You Bring:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather.
  • Note there is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Candidates should have a minimum of an associate degree in a Technical or Industrial Related Field, or minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Industrial Maintenance Position (Jr. Tech Training) preferred
  • PLC, or other logic platform experiences preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting experience
  • Basic Electricity Electronics knowledge preferred
  • Experience with industrial controls preferred
  • Previous experience with HVAC, Plumbing, Welding a plus
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions preferred
